sounds like you took the clear coat off the wood your going to need to recoat it if you want the protection and shine back to do that you will want to sand the entire table down to the wood (you don't necisarily need to sand past the stain if it has one but you need to take all the old clear coat off and then re applye with atleast two or three coats letting eat coat dry completely before the next then sand with really fine grit sand paper to smooth the coat out and your done sounds harder then it is

You should contact the clerk of the court the case was in. You could get it removed since you were in the derversion program. If that does not work contact a lawyer who can get it removed for you. I have heard of websites that have networks of lawyers that can clean your record for a small fee. If you Google expunge criminal record you can find a lawyer that can help you. If you explain the situation to an employer they will probably not hire you maybe a small company would but not a larger better paying company. I have a record too.

I recently bought a piece of mopani wood since it was on sale(two for one) so I will be getting two. I seem to have had a high ph problem(everything else measured great. Don't have any idea why ph rises so high) so I got some driftwood(woman at store gave it to me and didn't know what type of wood) and put it in my tanks(this was about 6 months ago). The wood works wonders for tank ph but is ugly straight wood that is ugly and in way of decoration so I bought the mopani for better looks. Will the mopani wood change ph well or will I have to keep other wood in anyway? 10-12inch wood piece for 10g and 15-20 inch for 30g. I really have to recommend Carvin's Acoustic Cobalt series. Their lowest model is about $490, fits right in your price range. Carvin operates their own factories to make their guitars, aka they sell direct, as opposed to retailing, so their guitars cost much less than they're worth. I have an upper range Cobalt and it's the best acoustic guitar I've ever played. It obviously won't compete with a high end Martin, but these guitars really are high up there. Well....we finally started getting into the groove of his work schedule but yesterday he was over at my house and he got a voicemail from another job. My boyfriend then explained to me that his friend/co-worker that he goes home with after work sometimes has a friend that needs work done to his boat and needs the wood and a bunch of stuff re-done on the boat and wants my boyfriend and his friend to help re-store the boat. The only upsides to this job is that he'll be making GOOD money and that this retsoring the boat job is only going to be a 3 month project max. ATTENTION CHEMISTS! Good lab practices?

I am taking a college organic chemistry laboratory class. Today in lab we were given an unknown solid (crystal) organic substance to test in various ways. Then we were given 7 known substances to test as well to figure out which one of these our unknown was. Once we thought we figured out our unknown, we tested that known chemical in the exact same tests as we did with our unknown. We got all the same results. This obviously confirms they are the same substance (we did IR spectroscopy, for one.) But then our professor told us to MIX our known and unknown together and repeat all these tests again. That was very strange to me. Why would we do that once we had already confirmed that they are the same? It's redundant. And also, isn't it bad lab practice to mix an unknown with other substances just to test to see if they are the same? Even if this showed we didn't have the right identification of our unknown, it would give us less information than testing them side by side, and for another thing it's DANGEROUS. What if they weren't the same and they reacted together? Especially since in some tests we add heat (melting point)!! Am I right in thinking these things? Has anyone else done this or heard of these practices?

Can I clean my hamsters cage with babies in?

I make cutting boards for friends and family out of walnut or cherry wood. We always use vegetable oil to treat the boards and it works very well and is safe. I also treat my wooden knife handles to keep them looking new. When they get rough, simply sand them with a 150 to 180 grit sandpaper. This will keep them looking new for years. Remember to treat them before they get too dry or water can penetrate and cause them to crack. Just rub on the oil and wipe it off. And......never put them in the dishwasher.

Above ground pool on a deck and concrete?

I have an above ground pool that is 15ft round by 4ft deep. I am moving to a place that has an area that will fit it but it is partially concrete slab and partially wooden deck raised about 8 in. off of the ground. The concrete slab is 11ft by 8ft square and is flush with the deck. My question is if I were to set up the pool on this area with the majority being supported by concrete, will the pool still be too much weight for the wood part of the deck?

I am a Muslim and I know that most Muslims welcome debate. But we are against ridicule of our religion because that hurts Muslims, many of whom are foreign immigrants. Normal bleeding or probable miscarriage?

I am now 5 weeks pregnant. For the past week, I have had a pretty normal pregnancy, except for the lgiht bleeding that occured last week. I went to the ER on Thursday and since I was only 4 weeks and 3 days, the ultrasound didn't show anything relating to the baby. My HCG level was 765. The next day, I had another quantative hcg test done, and my levels were over the 1500's. I was happy and so was the doctor, but he stressed that I wasn't out of the wood quite yet. I went in today (Monday) and had one more test done. My levels were well into the mid 4000's, and my doctor was pleased, and then I had a big problem happen. I started bleeding. It was not a bright red, but more of a red with a brownish tinge to it. It only happened for maybe 20 minutes or so, and it wasn't like I was bleeding heavily, just whenever I wiped, that blood stuff was there. So then I got scared and called the doctor back. She wants another HCG blood test done on Wednesday, and then she wants me to go in for an ultrasound next week when I am 6 weeks, to make sure there is a heart beat and that everything looks normal, if this turns out not to be a miscarriage. I wasn't having any cramping at all, so the doctor told me that was a good sign. So any ladies out there have this occur to you in the very beginning of your pregnancy, and had a normal pregnancy after the first trimester! Please, words of wisdom!! Thanks ladies!

Retake the classes you got Ds in, just to look better to colleges. If you retake them, even if your gpa is still low, it shows you care. Go ahead and apply to the schools you want to actually go to (plus some of the higher acceptance rates schools like san francisco state or sacramento or uc merced)

You can't just call up a lawyer and get a free answer to this over the phone. They need to see your records, what the felony was, how the sentence was carried out, etc. If you do not have the money to hire an attorney, contact the Legal Aid office in your county. Ok so me and 3 other body(3 of us freshman and 1 sophmore) got out of school. it was exams and it was 3rd to last day of school. We were all exempt from exams so we wern't allowed to come to school so we dont mess with the other testing kids. we were going to go hit the ganja. and please dont judge me, all 4 of us are A,B honor students. well we were leaving an alley and none of us were high. 2 of us had bookbags and 3 of us had marijuana. A police car pulls over and two men step out of the car. this is were i **** my pants. but the dick police guy ask to search the non marijuana carrier kids book bag. the kid ask what was his probable cause and the police said because he was acting nervous and because he had a bookbag. so the police pulls him over to the car and from were he was, we couldnt see him. well turns out he had a bamboo bong that was slightly used and a grinder slightly used. while the miget cop asked the 3 of us our information. they did search my bookbag but i had nothing in it, everything was in my pocket. well they called the searched bookbag kid's parents. and when they got there they took him home and he didnt get charged with anything. The dick cop came to us and asked us if we had any marijuana, and the dumb stoner of the group gave him a joint. the other kid game him a bowl and a 1g bag. and i gave him a packed bowl. i recently had some run in with the law, long story short ended up with 6 charges: 3x theft under 5000.00 and 3x fraud under 5000.00. i complied with the requests of the court and the charges were "withdrawn" under the mental health court diversion program (like an "administrative" procedure to stop the crowns prosecution- as described by my legal aid lawyer in his closing letter to me). however i have decided i want to take SOCIAL SERVICE WORKER college program- which requires a background check at least 1 month prior to attending first class. i am concerned about what my criminal record check will come out looking like because- "NOTE: A record of criminal offences, for which a pardon has not been granted, may prevent the student from completing graduation requirements." and want to make sure if my record will impact my educational decisions.

Last year i got into trouble , it was a f4, but since it was my first offense they decided to get me on a diversion program (sorta like probation w/o conviction) so it's been a year, i've been good, and now they are letting me off of this program, it's on my record as "Dismissed by Prosecutor / Nolle Prosequi " but now that i am officially done with this program what will it show as? Family advice please?

My fiance had his little sister over visiting at our place for some of the summer. Every year I have to get my house sprayed for snakes and bugs because of where I live (there is like a wooded area right behind where I live). She had been telling me since she got here we should get the house sprayed because she had been seeing spiders. It was his first misdemeanor so he was put into pre-trial diversion program (drug tests, cmmt. service, year probation, ect) Around 8 months later he received an MIP in New Orleans.. A month after that he received another MIP in Baton Rouge.. The one in New Orleans he has to pay like a $200 fee and a fee to get it expunged. The Baton Rouge MIP he has to go to court. Will these MIPs affect his diversion in St. Tammany? Thanks

Terrible psychiatric problems, what should i do?

I have been suffering with severe anxiety for my entire life, i get less than 12 hours of sleep per week. I had a sleep study, and it did not yield any useful information. I also have severe anxiety, especially social anxiety, and suffer from panic disorder. one day, i became such i nervous wreck, that i broke down, found a drug dealer and bought a vicodin, and with my luck was arrested, as a cop was watching the transaction. this is now on my hospital record. and my last psychiatrist, and all doctors/specialists, i have seen since then, refuse to prescribe me anything but seroquel, and other sedating anti-psychotics, for fear that i will abuse benzodiazepines or other sleeping pills. Seroquel makes me extremely sick, sort of like i have the flu, and i refuse to take it, and this ads to the drug seeking appearance that these doctors are trained to look for by the office of diversion control. I legitimately need these medications, but cannot get them because i was arrested once, and taken to the hospital, for possession of hydrocodone. which i never even got the chance to take. i had never misused drugs before, or after that event. and still, i remain out in the cold. apparently effective medication is a privilege that is taken away very easily by the DEA, ODC, and the medical community, to try to get you to buy street drugs illicitly, so that the police can arrest you, and so you have to hire a lawyer, and the judge and DA have someone to prosecute and then, they can send you to jail, to make sure corrections officers and wardens have jobs. i need sleeping pills but can in no legal way obtain them. what should i do? kill myself? the effects of this insomnia, and my symptoms of anxiety and panic are unbearable to say the least.

Before leaving a university campus I went around to collect bikes that were left behind. The campus had already been cleared out and several things were left behind, (futons, trash, etc). After putting 2 bikes in my car and riding back on 1 was arrested by the police for theft. I did not (cut) any bikes and acted with brevity and honesty when questioned by the police. I was surprised to be arrested as many people I know have collected bikes like this before that were left behind. My guess is to plead to contest in court and hope to have a post trial diversion or charges dropped. Any advice?
