What laboratory equipment should I use for heating substances?

Typically you will use a hot plate or magnetic stirrer. It does depend on what you're heating though. Heating and Cooling dry baths are used for samples. If your just sterilizing something you could use the autoclave. I found these heating items on Alkali Scientific's website.
