Do I have a chance with this guy?

I’ve had a crush on this guy for a year now. He is well-known in our university for his good looks. He is my blockmate and most of the time we are groupmates. My bestfriend paired the two of us in her debut; I would be the one to sing while he would be playing the guitar. Both of us somehow became close with one another through chat; he consults me on some things. We sort of became each other’s confidant. Although we don’t talk much in school, we talk of many things in chat. One time in chemistry laboratory, since we’re groupmates and I didn’t know how to light a lighter, he touched my hand until I mastered the art of lighting a Bunsen burner haha. My blockmates were giggling the entire time. Come the big event: debut of my bestfriend, I saved him a seat on our table just incase and true to my instincts, he sat with me while going to his friends once in a while excusing himself to me. We chatted throughout the whole thing (he pays compliments once in a while and is such a gentleman throught the whole thing, offering me his drink) and his close friend told me over and over that we sound like we were tickling each other and the two of us looked cute together. So, do you think I have a chance with this guy?
