Anybody familiar with Slingshot wakeboards? NEED HELP?

I am buying a 2011 Slingshot board (not the bindings) and was trying to figure out which one I will get the most pop off the wake behind a boat with? I was hearing how amazing slingshot was behind a boat which is a surprise because they are flex boards, but I was looking at the Recoil and the new Hooke, and a little at the Response. I think I am going to get the Hooke but can how sturdy do y'all think the new atomic wood core is? Because I was using the 2010 Liquid Force PS3 (non grind base) on cable, and the bottom is pretty much ripped to shreds, hah, input would be greatly appreciated, I will give out best answer thanks!
