Why is it important to know the uses of the laboratory apparatus?

It is important because if you ever were put in a situation in a class or profession in which you need to use laboratory equipment, you would need to know what you were looking at and the correct procedure to use the equipment. It would really help you and everyone around you to be more safe in the lab.
