Sun Laboratories self tanning lotion info?

Well I bought a gift pack of Sun Laboratories Self Tanning Lotion in Dark and I had a few questions about applying it. Well first and foremost how long am I supposed to leave the tanning lotion itself on? Are you supposed to even wash it off? (p.s. I plan on doing this in the evening about an 1 hour before I go to sleep sooooo yea idk if that is important) Last, when are you supposed to put the tan maintainer lotion on? Please only answer if you have experience using this EXACT product . THANKS
